Class Information

We offer two different class times and days.

Monday and Wednesday from 5:15-6:15 pm

Monday and Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 pm

Classes for ages 5+.

We go month by month for all our classes, and we never do contracts. We encourage people to do a free trial class prior to signing up, which can be any day and any time. We will provide one uniform at no charge when you sign up for you first month of classes. We offer discounts for multiple family members.

Children will learn listening skills, how to wait their turn, and how to follow directions. They will be getting important socialization skills, especially the younger ones. They will learn the basics of how to punch, kick, and do some blocks. They will learn discipline, self-control, build confidence, burn energy, learn how to do simple stretches, make new friends and have fun!

This class is structured loosely around a regular class, meaning we start with bowing in, meditating, a cardio exercise, a few stretches, then on to other activities. However, the activities and stretches we do are age-appropriate. Example: Most kids this age can not do jumping jacks, for instance, so we do a fun thing where they jump and throw their hands in the air, freeze, then jump and slap their hands down on their sides, freeze, then repeat.

Mr. and Mrs. Waterman have a child of their own, Izabella (Izzy), who was born May of 2016. She has spent many hours at the school, and is part of the inspiration for starting this preschool/toddler class. Mrs. Waterman has taken classes on working with kids specifically of this age group, along with her many years of teaching and assistant teaching in Taekwondo.
